What to do if the police does not write an FIR ?

The full form of FIR is First Information Report.  We go there but we should know that on which crime we can register an FIR.  There are two types of crimes.  Cognizable offense and non-cognizable offence.  Cognizable offenses are very serious offences.  In cognizable offences, FIR can be lodged under section 154 Cr.P.C.  In this the police do not need an arrest warrant.  The police can directly arrest the perpetrator and investigate.  They have this right.  If we talk about non-cognizable offences, then these are not very serious offences.  In this, an FIR can be lodged under section 155.  First the order of arrest warrant has to be brought from the court.  Then there is the investigation and the arrest of the perpetrator.  In this, the police cannot arrest the culprit without a warrant.  Before going to the police station, we should write two applications of FIR ourselves.  He will keep one and give us the receipt of the other.

Suppose the police does not register your FIR, what can you do after doing some reason?  If the police F.I.  R does not enter.  Then we can take the application letter in writing to the SP officer.  Then the SP officer gives an order in writing or by phone to the concerned police station that the FIR should be lodged immediately.  They will also give you the receipt. What to do if still no FIR is written?  If still no FIR is written then we can go to court under 156 Cr.P.C.  Whatever receipt we got, we can show it in court.  Then the court orders that police station to write the FIR and also asks the reason for not writing the FIR.
